LAM operates from South Scarle, a lovely little village in Nottinghamshire, just off the A1133 between Newark and Lincoln. The flying field is on Plot Lane to the south of the village.
If you’ve never been before, the nearest postcode for Satnav is NG23 7JJ which takes you to some houses on Amos Lane (in South Scarle), however, you’re still ¼ mile away from our field. Depending on where you’re coming from, if these houses are on your left, then you’re heading in the right direction, but if they’re on your right, you’re coming up the lane the wrong way, so turn around!
Amos Lane is narrow so please drive slowly down the lane and continue past the houses to the very bottom and turn right at the small grass triangle (this is Plot Lane – a bridleway). Carry on for a couple of hundred yards and turn left into our field; you’ll see our grey cabin to your right. Drive up towards the cabin and park right up to the hedge.
If you’re using the What3Words app, then the three words you need are included.gear.eyeliner and that gets you directly to the grey cabin.

We would ask all visitors to drive slowly through South Scarle.
